Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The RN Coordinator is a registered nurse who assists the charge nurse manager and director with specialty unit function and is responsible for the coordination direction and evaluation of patient care for a specialty area and/or service.
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
Minimum:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in specialty area.
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
Successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence; certification of standardized procedures for the Endoscopy Unit within one (1) year of employment within department.
Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures and the function of other departments within the facility.
Demonstrates organizational skills and leadership ability.
Required to be flexible in scheduling i.e. weekends holidays and on call.
Demonstrates the ability to understand the unique infant child adolescent adult and geriatric population and effectively meet those needs relative to growth assessment and development of the patients.
Maintains accountability of own practice and demonstrates professional skills through self-development and participation in on-going hospital in-service education.
Adheres to Standards of Care for specialty area.
RN - Registered Nurse License from NV State Nursing Board.
CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
CT CPRACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support – AHA
CT CPRPALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
