Responsibilities:

·         Clinical Expertise: Maintain clinical competence in nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Serve as a role model by demonstrating evidence-based practices and facilitating safe, high-quality patient care.

·         Education & Training: Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs, orientation plans, and skill development sessions for nursing staff. Collaborate with management to identify learning needs and create individualized learning goals. Maintain accurate records of staff competencies, orientation progress, and skills checklists.

·         Resource & Collaboration: Act as a resource and consultant for nursing staff, students, and preceptors. Support preceptors in orientee goal setting, evaluation, and counseling. Foster teamwork by providing guidance on clinical practices and patient care planning.

·         Performance Improvement & Research: Lead and participate in performance improvement projects, integrating research findings into clinical practices. Support staff in analyzing data, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes to improve patient care.

·         Professional Development: Mentor staff in professional growth through research, committee participation, and leadership activities. Encourage attendance at professional events and maintain compliance with certification and regulatory requirements.

·         Documentation & Compliance: Ensure staff adhere to documentation standards, regulatory guidelines, and patient rights. Provide education on new policies, equipment, and performance improvement initiatives.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promote open communication with interdisciplinary teams to address patient, family, and staff needs. Serve as a liaison between families and the care team to ensure holistic care delivery
