**Job Summary**
A Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist role uses expertise to enhance healthcare methods for learners. They improve patient outcomes and their own techniques.
**What You'll Do**
+ You will create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning.
+ You'll identify the needs of our staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs.
+ You will help implement education plans. You will create a positive environment to reach our goals.
+ You'll design and assess educational activities and projects. You'll engage team members and implement evidence-based content.
+ Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes. Involve learners in evaluation and adjust material based on data collected.
+ You'll build relationships with various community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of your educational practice.

+ Familiarity with nursing practices, standards of patient care and procedures.
+ Comprehensive grasp of pertinent laws, regulations and standards set by accrediting agencies.
+ Knowledgeable in the areas of health promotion, illness prevention, and healthcare terminology.
+ A deep respect for medical and nursing ethics, and commitment to safeguarding patient confidentiality.
+ Adaptable teaching skills that cater to diverse learning methods.

**LOCATION/FACILITY:** Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas
**SPECIALITY/DEPARTMENT PRACTICE:** Oncology
**SHIFT/SCHEDULE:** Full time days, Monday-Friday with flexibility to work with night and weekend Staff
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ At least 2 years of pertinent experience is essential.
+ RN license and BLS certification. If not BLS certified yet, they must obtain it within 30 days of hire.
