Nurse Educator PACU

Primary responsibilities for PACU (Phase 1 & Phase 2 recovery) staff include but not limited to: + utilize evidence-based research to coordinate training and develop education programs + facilitate professional development and ongoing learning opportunities + support onboarding of new staff and new hire orientation + develop educational material for patients + act as a clinical resource + ensure staff competence, compliance, and regulatory standards to meet organizational goals + participate in quality and process improvement initiatives, including routine auditing + create and revise departmental policies and procedures 1 FTE. 40 hrs/wk (80 hrs/pay period) – days, with rotation to off shifts as needed 3+ years recent acute care PACU experience. ICU experience preferred. Previous nurse educator experience preferred. BSN required. MSN preferred. BLS and ACLS required. PALS preferred/required within 1 year.
