Nurse Educator/Performance Improvement Coord Specialty Care, UHS Wilson Medical Center Shift Day Rotational Hours per week: 32 Salary range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience. Overview The Nurse Educator/PI Coordinator on the Unit is responsible for collaborating with the Nurse Managers and Directors of Nursing across sites to plan and implement specific orientation, in-service education, and staff development. Ensures competency of all staff within clinical area. Provides support in review and development of departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications Education/Experience Minimum Required: + Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing + Three (3) years relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred: + Clinical Specialist with master’s degree in nursing + Previous education or management experience License/Certification Minimum Required: + New York State Registered Nurse + CPR certification within 3 months of hire + NRP certification Preferred: + CPR Basic Life Support Instructor certification + Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (C-EFM, In-Pt OB) + Member of AWHONN + Experience in collaboration with various interdisciplinary teams About United Health Services United Health Services is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 500,000 people in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier region.
