The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for senior professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.

Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program, and upon completion of first clinical rotation.

Description Nurse Extern Ortho Spine PRN Days Position Summary The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse. THE NURSE EXTERN ORTHO SPINE CARE PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
