Nurse Graduate - 2 South - Elmer

Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies. Graduate Nurses are only to perform non licensed duties independently without the oversight of a registered nurse.

Education & Experience:

All NJ RN State Board exams must be completed within 60 days of hire. If the applicant does not pass after the first attempt, they may remain in the current GN position until their second attempt. The graduate Nurse should schedule within 30 days of being able to reschedule. The second attempt should not be greater than 45 days from the initial attempt. If a second failure occurs , the graduate nurse will be moved to an unlicensed position whose qualifications they meet and paid in accordance with that position’s salary.  Once licensed, you may apply to open and posted RN positions.

 Certification/Licensure:

American Heart Association BLS required.  American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire. Critical Care Course required within 6 months of hire if PCU, SD, ICU, ED. Dysrhythmia course required within 3 months of hire. Physical Requirements:
