Overview
Responsibilities
Teaches in-service, specialty and training classes for trainees and paraprofessionals, which includes demonstration of required skills.Identifies and communicates any noted Home Health Aide problems to the appropriate Partners in Care supervisor.Acts as a liaison for the operations staff. Provides instruction as required.Facilitates peer support for the paraprofessionals.Assists in developing specialty programs.Performs other duties related to the operations of the Education Department, as needed.Conducts supervision visits for the home health aides.Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Supervises and evaluates the skills of the Home Health Aides in the client care setting. Works under general supervision.

Qualifications
Licensure: License and current registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State required.
Education: BSN degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience, plus a minimum of six months experience supervising paraprofessionals in a home care setting, required.
