Pay

$25.70 - $29.98 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
 

Plus $1.00 / hr shift premium for 2nd shift hours and $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

Schedule

Flexibility is key for this role as shifts and hours will vary. This position will have a set one day a week schedule and will cover for other nurses as needed on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. The department is closed one hour before sunset on Friday until one hour after sunset on Saturdays.
This position will require nurses to attend staff meetings, periodic trainings, etc.

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Nurse - LPN to join our Employee Health Service team. Under the supervision of an RN, the LPN provides nursing services to employees of McKee Foods Corporation and its affiliates and first aid to others who become ill or injured on the premises. Assists with management of Workers Compensation claims and with health-related programs.

Working as liaison with the safety departmentAdministering drug/alcohol tests as necessaryConducting pre-employment physicals and drug screensCoordinating and participating in various health and wellness programsSecuring medical files and maintaining HIPAA complianceProviding first aid treatmentWorkers’ Compensation case managementConducts walkthrough in the plantDocuments all aspects of care in nurses’ notes

Required Qualifications

Must be licensed to in practice in Arkansas and have at least one year of experienceCPR certifiedPossess strong organization skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work independently and communicate effectivelyCustomer service orientedMust have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle frequent interruptions

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of job experience as LPNComputer proficiency desired
