The Nurse Practice Manager maintains full accountability for leading and managing the human resources, clinical, financial and administrative operations of an assigned practice(s) in order to continuously improve the quality of patient care and create a healthy workplace for staff in collaboration with organizational leadership.
Monday – Friday | No Weekends or Major Holidays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Staffing and Operations Adjust staffing based on patient needs and clinical requirements. Manage daily operations and provide clinical support as needed. Serve as a role model in patient and community care. Align with national and organizational goals to enhance patient safety, quality, and satisfaction. Foster a compassionate, patient-focused environment. Leadership and Change Management Lead and support staff during transitions and change processes. Involve stakeholders in planning and implementing changes. Use interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of ideas and plans. Communication and Relationships Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, staff, and senior management. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. Build teams and resolve conflicts in a timely manner. Understand cultural differences and promote healthy relationships. Professional Development and Standards Commit to professional development to enhance practice quality. Develop staff and maintain performance standards. Create developmental paths and plans for staff. Support new staff and students through orientation and training. Financial and Resource Management Lead in budgeting, staffing, HR management, and safety reporting. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in managing the practice budget. Optimize billing and documentation practices. Quality and Compliance Collaborate with medical staff to monitor outcomes and implement improvements. Analyze satisfaction data and develop action plans. Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee audits and training. Use research to improve clinical care. Patient Care and Safety Promote patient-centered decisions and use best practices. Set priorities for clinical, financial, and HR improvements. Oversee program and patient coordination to achieve goals. Manage safety hazards in the workplace.
