Nurse Manager Job, Variable Day Shift, Med Surg 4 South Renal

Powers Health is hiring a Nurse Manager for 4 South Renal to work days at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

4 South Renal performs therapeutic treatments and cares for patients with various diseases, diagnosis, or conditions which include but are not limited to: Diabetes, renal failure, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalance, CVA, cardiovascular-ASHD, CHF, Hypertension, COPD, Fever, Dehydration, Gastrointestinal conditions, Wound infection, and general surgical cases.

Nurse Manager and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the planning, staffing, organizing and coordinating the operations of a patient care area. Develops and implements the policies, procedures and standards of the unit.  Assures the highest quality and standards of care for the patients on the unit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Indiana. Bachelor Degree with 3-5 years of unit specific experience. Prior supervisory/management experience highly desirable. Maintains current CPR Certification and safety and infection control validations.
