Crouse’s Addiction Treatment team provides a comprehensive system of assessment and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders by integrating physical, mental and spiritual healthcare practices for patients and families. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring a Nurse Manager to work Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. This position will be on call and may work other shifts as needed. Pay Range: $100,000.00-$120.448.00/yearly. Nurse Manager Position Responsibilities: + Responsible for the overall operations, leadership, direction and coordination of nursing and ancillary staff within the department. + Participates in development and implementation of standards for nursing action and in the evaluation of those standards through process and outcome audits. + Coordinates department/patient care activities and interactions with other departments on an on-going basis. + Responsible for assuring the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective nursing care to all patients within a geographically defined unit. + In accordance with the objectives and policies of the hospital, the manager is responsible for assuring the nursing process is implemented effectively by evaluating the plan of care as well as the quality of care delivered by personnel assigned to that nursing unit. Nurse Manager Position Requirements: + Current NYS RN licensure required. + Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR a Bachelor's degree in another field with a Masters in Nursing. + Experience in addiction treatment preferred. + Minimum three years’ experience as a staff nurse with a demonstrated expertise in clinical field. + Demonstrated leadership ability and communication skills. + Certification in specialty area desirable. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within 2 weeks after hire. + Successful candidate oversees nursing staff in OASAS certified 818 Inpatient and OASAS 822 Comprehensive Outpatient Program.
