(https://youtu.be/RrPuiSnALJY?si=pvQgPZ6ZWZM60TPV) **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** **We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.** St. Mary Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Hospital, with 26 beds in our Emergency Department. Our ER sees an average of 150 visits per day. We are certified by TJC as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, are a STEMI Heart Attack Center, and have been designated by Los Angeles County as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). We are also an Emergency Base Station. As our Nurse Manager Emergency Services at St. Mary Medical Center, you’ll oversee a department of frontline staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the nursing staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experiences, reach out to our community, and deliver quality care. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident.
