The Nurse Manager a leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all Quality leadership skillsExpertly manages the care of a patient population and practices expert critical thinking skills when in the clinical settingResponsible for appropriate utilization of team resources to effectively and efficiently provide clinical services and quality patient outcomes. Accountable for planning, organizing and controlling all aspects of daily operations.Key responsibilities include staffing, fiscal management, inventory management, quality improvement, team member accountability, accreditation standards, team member coaching and mentoring, education, physician engagement, and accountability for the patient experience.This role will be for the Mom/Baby, NICU, and Lactation team at Winter Haven Women's Hospital.

 

Required Experience:

3 years RN experience and 2 years Healthcare Leadership or 2 years Nursing Professional Development Practitioner/Clinical Educator experience and 6 months Assistant Nurse Manager or  1 year in Nursing leadership with MSN and RN Certification is required A background in Women's Services is preferred 

Certifications, Licensures, Education:

BLS - RequiredRegistered nurse license- Required.Bachelor's degree in nursing- Required
