Scheduled Hours: 11:00am - 7:30pm, shift lengths and hours may vary.
Job Description:
Supervises staff in the Emergency Department and Day Hospital and plays an integral role in departmental operations, including but not limited to; recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, promoting, discharging, assigning work, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining. Participates in injury prevention activities
Qualifications:
Required:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa
Preferred:
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in nursing practice, prefer leadership experience
Proficiency in clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel) preferred
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Critical Care experience preferred
