NURSE MANAGER - STROKE & REHAB UNITS

Description:The Patient Care Manager (PCM) is a Registered Nurse who is responsible and accountable for the coordination of all clinical activities and daily operations on the unit for a 24 hour period. He/she works in conjunction with the staff to coordinate the care of all patients on the unit. The PCM coordinates daily allocation of resources and promotes the development of work teams. He/she works under the guidance of the DON.

The position requires a current, valid Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. Professional certification in speciality is preferred. A Master’s degree in Nursing or related health care field, or Business Administration, or currently pursuing and making steady progress toward completion of a Master’s degree within 12 months of hire is required. Note: Either Bachelor's or Master's degree must be in nursing. Three (3) years in acute clinical nursing, stroke/ neuro experience preferred. Previous leadership roles and experiences preferred. Certified in BCLS is required, certified in ACLS or within six months in position.
