SUMMARY OF JOB The Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) participates in the overall coordination and delivery of care to patients in the practice. The CRNP performs history, examines, diagnoses and treats patients of physicians in the practice. The CRNP may assist in procedures in the office setting, conduct testing and prescribe medications in accordance with the Pennsylvania CRNP license scope and the delineation of privileges by the collaborating physicians. The CRNP communicates, as appropriate, with the patients, physicians and other members of the health care team about changes in a patient’s clinical condition and testing results. The CRNP serves as a liaison, educator, and patient advocate, and functions within individual patient needs, physician orders, Redeemer Health policy and procedures, and the Pennsylvania CRNP license. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program CPR Certified Practice specific experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated competency in Clinical assessment Maintains National Certification with 100 hours of CME credits every two years LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: RN licensed in Pennsylvania
