The IR Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting including complex cases requiring the use of advance knowledge and skills. Clinical role includes history and physical, evaluation of patients and performance of Standardized Procedures such as but limited to: PICC placement, Implanted Vascular Access, Ultrasound guided drainages, simple percutaneous biopsies, and other interventional procedures. Additionally, the NP will provide and coordinate the care of Interventional / Neuro Interventional radiology patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The NP will provide education as well as make appropriate referrals and bill for services rendered.
The NP position requires cross coverage between both RRH, SM, UCLA Imaging and Interventional centers. Credentialing to MLK is also required
Salary range:
NP2: $89.06-$127.19/hourly
NP1 (less 6 mths NP exp): $80.34/hourly
