Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health needs.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications and therapies as necessary.Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Perform routine procedures such as suturing, wound care, and administering injections.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.Stay current with medical research, clinical best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Maryland.Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) preferred.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
