NURSE PRACTITIONER

Summary

JOB SUMMARY: The part-time Nurse Practitioner serves as a collaborative member of the healthcare team atCenter for Hope and is responsible for performing initial screening exams for children entering foster care and kinship care. Provides medical evaluations for children entering foster care, including initial health screenings for children age newborn to 19 years who are entering the foster care system through the Baltimore City or Baltimore County Department of Social Services.   REQUIREMENTS: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Current Maryland Registered Nurse License, Master's in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. At least 3 years of experience providing medical care for children in outpatient settings. 5-7 years of experience. American Heart Association CPR Certification.
