Nurse Practitioner

Provide onsite Occupational Medicine healthcare services to 1300+ associates to include, but not limited to the following job duties:   

Perform basic first aid 

Assessing, diagnosing and providing treatment of various diagnosis including acute, chronic, and workers comp injury 

Work with RN, safety team and HR to evaluate potential or current safety and ergonomic concerns  

Complete specialty and outpatient referrals  

Follow up with lab or diagnostic testing 

Occasionally respond to emergency calls 

The organization works 24/7, so while this position is two (2), four (4) hour shifts per week, the hours can be very flexible. 

The position falls under the responsibility of the HR Department, but will work very closely with the internal Health and Safety Dept., as well as other external providers. 

Optimal candidate will be engaged and show a motivated interest in learning about the organization's work environment.  

Qualifications: Current South Carolina Nurse Practitioner License required with 3-5 years of occupational health experience preferred. DOT certified a plus. Critical thinking, strong interpersonal and computer skills preferred.
