Qualifications
Graduation from an approved college or university—Master’s degree required. Minimum of 2 years experience is preferred. Experience in alcohol and drug field desirable. CPR and CPI certifications (training provided at the facility) Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of North Carolina. Ability to work with male and female adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population. Working experience in the field of addictionology preferred but not required.Essential Job Duties
Performs Medical Assessment at all levels of care within timeframe. Completes documentation in the medical record accurately and timely recording all care rendered. Prescribes medication as indicated Provides consultation to non-medical staff regarding condition of patient Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment teamBENEFITS
