**Nurse Practitioner** **Location:** Oishei Children's Hospital Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Full-Time **Shift:** Shift 1 Job Description **Summary:** Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved, provided such services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols. **Education And Credentials** **Responsibilities:** Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. ANCC or national certification in area of specialty (Family/Adult) required within six (6) months of hire/transfer into position.
