education for patients and their families Must be self motivated and flexible to meet the demands of the specialty The provider should exhibit a passion for structural heart disease and be open to being part of a rapidly growing and evolving program where adaptability is paramount Must have an understanding of procedures offered such as TAVR transcatheter aortic valve replacement TMVR transcatheter mitral valve replacement Mitraclip left atrial appendage closure and patent foramen ovaleatrial septal defect closure Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team including interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Educate patient and family members ensuring they understand the care being provided testing being performed medical conditions including treatment regimens and expected outcomesClinical management in collaboration with the physicians in both the outpatient and inpatient settingsStrong clinical background and the ability to diagnose treat and manage complex cardiovascular care including acute and chronic disease medication management and
