and experience in the use of cutting edge techniques such as minimally invasive and robotic assisted surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN Role ScopeThe General Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN will work in an ambulatory setting as a part of a team of physicians and APPs who specialize in General Surgery and Complex Hernia and Abdominal Core Health Responsibilities includemiddot Patient management will include new patient consults short and long term post operative follow up in a variety of satellite offices in the greater Hartford Region inpatient transition of care rounding at Hartford Hospital and coordination of patient care across multiple disciplinesmiddot In addition a percentage of patient management is comprised of in office procedures including skin and soft tissue mass excisions incision and drainages and complex wound caremiddot Additional responsibilities will include assisting with system quality initiativesmiddot Potential OR time offeredGeneral Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN Enjoymiddot Full Time ndash Monday through Friday Schedule ndashNo weekends ndash No callmiddot The opportunity to work with highly complex surgical patients in an ambulatory setting developing long term relationships with patients and their families across the continuum of caremiddot Supportive and collaborative relationships with the physicians as well as a well tenured APP teammiddot Comprehensive orientation and on going educational opportunities to ensure yoursquore always practicing with
