**Nurse Practitioner Bone Marrow Transplant - *FNP/PNP*** **Location:** Oishei Children's Hospital Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Full-Time **Shift:** Shift 1 Job Description **Summary:** The Nurse Practitioner - Bone Marrow Transplant encompasses the role of the clinical expert, educator, consultant, quality analyst, researcher and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program leader. The Nurse Practitioner Bone Marrow Transplant utilizes quality metrics and research to support improvements in transplant care delivery and gene therapy grown and advancement. The Nurse Practitioner Bone Marrow transplant models professional clinical practice through leading and participating in staff education, attending and presenting at local and national conferences. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for organizing and providing expertise in the gene therapy/Stem Cell Therapy (SCT) program. The position works collaboratively with health care providers, patients, families, and community groups to facilitate Bone Marrow, gene therapy and stem cell transplant care throughout the continuum of care. **Education And Credentials** **Responsibilities:** Master's of Science in Nursing required. Registered Nurse licensure required upon hire. Nurse Practitioner licensure required upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. NIHSS Certification - Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) - Required within 6 months of hire/transfer (Kaleida Required).
