Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.

Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

 

Job Highlights:

Qualifying candidates must have 2-3 years' experience in cardiology setting working as an NPDiagnose and treat patients with cardiac symptomsSee patients in clinic Round on patients admitted to hospitalCollaborate with cardiology physicians in practiceParticipate in call rotationWeekday call one night per weekWeekend call one weekend per monthProficient in Epic EMR

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP
2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
3. BLS upon hire and maintain current
4. Two to three years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
