Sheppard Pratt is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide inpatient services for our center for eating disorders.

At our eating disorder treatment center, our team of experts understands that each disorder has its own unique set of causes, symptoms, and health risks, and every individual may experience the illness and the recovery process differently. Psychiatric Providers are a critical part of our multi-disciplinary teams and possess unique expertise and a strong focus on providing quality mental healthcare in the highest level of outpatient care setting. This position will serve individuals who have one or more serious and persistent mental illnesses and have received previous psychiatric treatments. 

General Summary:

This is a licensed professional position requiring knowledge and licensure in psychiatric nursing allowing the diagnosis of mental health disorders, as well as the licensure to prescribe psychotropic medications.

Requirements:

Must have a current license to practice in Maryland at the time of hire. Must have at least 12months of prescribing experience. Must have at least 2 years’ experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at outpatient setting/ clinic post-graduation.
