**Overview** CHI Oakes Hospital, is a 20-bed critical access hospital that provides various inpatient and outpatient services to approximately 14,000 people in southeastern North Dakota. It is also a 24-Hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center. The hospital building was newly-constructed in 2007, replacing a 50-year old building, and in 2010, Oakes Community Clinic was opened within the hospital building. The hospital is part of a larger values-based organization CommonSpirit Health. **Responsibilities** + Patient Care: + Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. + Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. + Communication: + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. + Documentation: + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. + Diagnostic Procedures: + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. + Team Collaboration: + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. + Quality Improvement: + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. + Compliance: + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. + Continuous Learning: + Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. + Participate in ongoing medical education and training. + Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. **Qualifications** + Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program + Board Certified and able to secure an unrestricted ND license and DEA + Candidate with ER post graduate experience or ER fellowship encouraged to apply + Current BLS, ATLS, ACLS and PALS. + New graduates with RN/EMT 5+ years of FT experience in Trauma, Emergency Medicine or ICU encouraged to apply + Possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills **Pay Range** $62.47 - $69.05 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
