QualificationsMinimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Education: Completion of Nurse Practitioner Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or\r\nuniversity. Successful completion of a National Certification Exam for NP, current registration\r\nthrough the Alabama board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners, and approval of the\r\ncredentialing board.\r\nOr\r\nCompletion of an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program recognized by the Alabama\r\nBoard of Medical Examiners. Successful completion of PA National Certification Exam, current\r\nAlabama State License, and approval through Helen Keller Hospital's Medical Staff credentialing process. Minimum of three years full time ER or Critical Care RN and/or CRNP experience preferred.
