As an advanced practitioner in Invasive Cardiology you would perform under the supervision of the cardiologists in the electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization labs, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physician to extend their services through the more effective use of their knowledge in the sphere of decision making required to establish diagnosis and to plan therapy. As an advanced practitioner this role involves independent judgement and decision making as well as consultation and collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Position: Nurse Practitioner – Invasive Cardiology
Shift: Day Shift 6:30a-6:30p

Experience:
1. Two (2) years’ experience in cardiology strongly preferred
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.


Education:
1. Completion of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
2. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.

Licensures/Certifications:
Licensures & Certifications:
1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board 
2. BLS/ACLS required
3. Successful completion of MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved
