This requires providers to stay up to date with the latest evidence based medicine. They work collaboratively with the Hospitalist to facilitate acute care of the adult patient. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare disciplines utilizing a team approach. The APC participates in all aspects of care of the hospitalized patient including admissions, discharge, daily rounds, and patient education. In this role, you will be joining the largest orthopedic practice in Marshfield Clinic's system. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** Master’s Degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant, or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). **Preferred/Optional:** None **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** none **Preferred/Optional:** Three years’ experience as a staff nurse in a hospital setting preferred. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._ **Minimum Required:** Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License.
