The greater Wausau area offers recreational options in all four seasons. During the warmer months, biking, camping and fishing are among many people’s favorites. When the snow falls, people flock to one of the state’s premier downhill skiing destinations: Granite Peak Ski Area located in Rib Mountain State Park.
