Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Per Diem Urgent Care
Job Summary

Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team as a per diem, as needed employee in northeast PA.

Job Duties

ConvenientCare, the per diem position is a great opportunity for an experienced advanced practitioner. Our clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services are also provided.Experience is required - Due to the autonomous nature of the position, advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older and have a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.

Attractive schedule for an experienced advanced practitioner who is looking for extra hours in a fast paced environment ​$75/hr.Office Hours - Monday - Friday 8:45 am – 8:15 pm  and Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am – 6:15 pmMust be able to work at least 20 hours (two shifts per month)No overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts.Work autonomously with limited administrative burden.Access to Geisinger’s vast network of resources and specialists.Work in comfort - Scrub business attire.
