Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) new grad or experience is welcome for this position located at UHS Internal Medicine Endwell Medical Center.
Full-time, exempt Primary Care opportunity in a focused and collaborative environment
The provider will be responsible for general medical care and treatment to patients in our medical facility, under direction of a physician. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Record physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
NP must possess current licensure in New York State as an RN and must have a current New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner. PA must be able to be licensed in New York.
Must also be board certified.

Salary Range: $124,000 - $145,800 annually

Minimum Required:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or Physician Assistant degreePossession of an NPI (National Provider Identification) number, as evidenced by the receipt of a copy of the notification assigning the numberSuccessful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner programThree (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical settingPreferred:

All work is performed in offices and patient examination rooms that require working in close quarters with other employees and patients. The offices are air conditioned/heated.
