Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Structural Heart Research

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Structural Heart Research team. The APP will manage patients enrolled in structural heart research studies.  This role involves patient care, research protocol management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. In addition to patients enrolled in structural heart research, there will also be an opportunity to care for established structural/valve patients for longitudinal follow-up. Additionally, there will be numerous opportunities aligned with the Bold.Forward.Unbound strategies in the coming years, fostering growth and professional development within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients in structural heart research studies, including pre/post-procedural assessments.Assist with screening, enrolling, and coordinating care for patients in clinical trials for structural heart interventions. Serving as a resource for study coordinators for patient questions and concerns, collaborating with study principal investigator, assessing clinical status for pre-procedural and post-procedural follow-up visits. Work with study principal investigators to ensure compliance with research protocols, maintain documentation, and monitor patient outcomes.Collaborate with cardiologists, research teams, cardiovascular interventionalists and cardiovascular surgeons for comprehensive care.Maintain proficiency in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training

Qualifications

Master's or DNP prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner.  Current Minnesota RN license and certification as an:

Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP)

Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Minnesota board of Medical practice.

Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.

Cardiology and research experience preferred, but not required.
