Summary Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedics – HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital - O'Fallon, Illinois HSHS St. Francis Hospital is recruiting a BC/BE Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Orthopedics Clinic in O'Fallon, Illinois. HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights Well established, growing practice. Large primary care base for referrals. X-ray on-site On-site referral team for MRI and CT Scans as needed Position Requirements Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start Board Certified or Board Eligibility 2+ years of provider work experience Experience in orthopedics or sports medicine is preferred, but experience in other specialities will be considered. Position Details Monday - Friday weekly schedule Clinic only Compensation & Benefits Package Base guarantee Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year Qualifications Education Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred. Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred. Federal DEA license is preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
