The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care at a Neighborcare clinic, with support of patients from other clinics as needed. This role also provides consultation for Neighborcare medical clinics across the system for Primary Care Providers, Behavioral Health Consultants and other members of the care team as needed. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric care for patients as appropriate, psychiatric diagnostic clarification and medication initiation/stabilization.

Purpose
Provide professional psychiatric services within the scope of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Standards include: Obtain/review patient history and perform psychiatric evaluations Order and evaluate basic laboratory results in accordance with Neighborcare psychiatric medication prescribing policies Provide psychiatric diagnoses Assess and adjust care/treatment to be compatible with the needs and wellbeing of patients Assess a patient’s goals and adjust care appropriately Implement psychiatric interventions designed to achieve positive health outcomes Provide patient and/or patient representative with information about diagnosis, various aspects of treatment and plan of care Prescribe (initiation and stabilization) psychiatric medication according to licensed prescriptive authority to aid in the management of behavioral health conditions Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with Neighborcare records protocol Ensure appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes are included in documentation within the EHR Perform all role responsibilities to Neighborcare standards (ex. encounter expectations, timely chart review, etc.) Refer to other care team members within Neighborcare and/or provide external referrals as appropriate to support patient care Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and Behavioral Health Consultants, including but not limited to medication management support and assistance with psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment as well as in support of whole-person team-based care Collaborate with other licensed providers at Neighborcare, including participating in chart review, providing non-visit based support, including but not limited to inbox management and message management, case consult, and other practices aimed towards improving team-based care for Neighborcare patients Maintain professional standards associated with patient centered and team-based care in all settings; calm, compassionate and empathetic manner with both patients and colleaguesKEY SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

Required:
Graduated from an accredited Masters or Doctor of Nursing Practice Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program
Required: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
Licensed with prescriptive ability in the state of Washington by start date
National Provider Identification (NPI) number obtained before start date
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) licensure obtained before start date
Years of Relevant Experience Required: 1 year experience in a clinical setting
Years of Relevant Experience Preferred:
1 year experience in community support and outreach 1 year experience in and familiarity with team-based care providing care to underserved patient populations 1 year experience being bi or multi-lingual 1 year experience in harm reduction and SUD related care 1 year experience addressing the correlation between behavioral health concerns and SDoHOur Mission

Compensation
The wage range for this position is minimum $56.67 up to $78.61 maximum. Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reason
