The Nurse Residency program continues Ozarks Healthcare's mission, vision, and values to provide superior nursing development to achieve the program goals.

-Transition from an entry-level advanced beginner to a competent nurse
-Develop effective decision-making skills related to clinical judgment and performance
-Provide safe patient care
-Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession
-Incorporate evidence-based science into practice

Eligibility
-Completion of an LPN or RN program within the last 6 months
-Current LPN or RN licensure preferred or scheduled with successful completion of NCLEX within 90 days of hire
-Commitment to the residency program including participating in general and specialized learning experiences, finishing activities related to the program and completing evaluations of the program, preceptors, and facilitators
-Commitment to Ozarks Healthcare for one year
