Nurse Residency (RN New Grad)

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System has an opportunity for an RN, New Grad join our nursing team. 

 

A Joint Commission accredited hospital, Sothern Tennessee Regional Health System serves the patients of south-central Tennessee with two locations (Winchester and Sewanee).

Our Nurse Residency is a 12-month program designed to help new RN graduates transition into clinical practice with confidence and competence. Combining the gold standard of evidence-based training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, the residency develops clinical skills, critical thinking, and leadership. As a nurse resident joining our team, you’ll build a foundation to thrive in your healthcare career.

Reports to the Director of Med Surg.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

·         Less than one year of nursing experience

·         Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

·         ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire
