Reporting to the Health Services Team Leader you will provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of employees. Prepare equipment and within appropriate RN scope of practice for patient's examinations and treatments. Observe and maintain record on patient care, condition, reactions and progress. Help develop preventive health care and safety programs. You will work on site at the Council Bluffs Location. You will work the overnight 3rd shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain and follow the Occupational Health Services Procedure Manuals and Medical Evaluation GuidelinesPerform occupational health services in the provision of supportive or restorative care under physician standing ordersProvide first aid/emergency care/stabilization for injured/ill team members and secure appropriate transportationProvide nursing care for occupational and non-occupational conditions based on the Medical Evaluation GuidelinesAdminister over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered according to Standing Medication Orders and as ordered by our physicianSchedule and perform assessments and testing according to company policy, including health assessments for post-hire, injury/illness, respirator/HazMat surveillance, drug and alcohol testingWork with other health, safety, production and human resources team members in a comprehensive approach to the team member's healthCommunicate information about work-related injuries and illnesses to the RN Supervisor and Medical Case Manager and Third-party Administrator (TPA)Help with follow-up, maintenance, and documentation of workers' compensation casesConduct daily plant walk-through to ensure team-member and team-leader compliance with prescribed modified/restricted responsibility job requirementsMaintain Occupational Health Services records and reporting systems according to OSHA, State, company, and legal requirements. Record maintained include, post-hire assessments, team member health records, OSHA records, audiometric testing, and individual health surveillance recordsMaintain confidentiality of team member health records according to company policy and HIPPA.Help with team member health promotion and education programsDevelop goals of plant's Health and Safety Services Determine need for further medical treatment of occupational injuries and coordinate treatmentRecommend preventative and corrective measuresOrders and maintains a supply of personal safety equipment and health services supplyTrain associates on wellness programsPerform OSHA recordkeeping, Ensure compliance with safety regulationsPrepare reports of medical statistical data, Collect accurate accident/illness informationPosition Qualifications:
Minimum academic preparation includes completion of accredited school of registered nursing program and current license to practice as a registered nurse in Iowa.ADN Required, Bachelor's in NursingTwo years+ experience required in the performance of nursing skills relative to Occupational Health Nursing.Current CPR/First Aid Responder certification.Knowledge of personal computers and proficient in related software skills i.e., Excel (basic skills)At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the futurePhysical Requirements:

Compensation:
Pay Range:$57,000-$77,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
