Shift: Night Position: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm-7am

Job Overview:

We are currently hiring for clinic nurses to join our groundbreaking and innovative Behavioral Crisis Center in Columbia, Missouri. This center serves as Burrell's 24/7 “rapid-access” mental health and substance-use clinic, offering an alternative to the hospital Emergency Department (ED) for individuals whose presenting problem is primarily psychiatric and/or substance use (including opioid use). Our dedicated nurses provide compassionate and comprehensive care to all patients, playing a vital role in ensuring the well-being and recovery of individuals seeking mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate and personalized nursing care, prioritizing the needs and well-being of clients in every interaction while allowing for flexibility.Skillfully execute physician's orders, ensuring coordinated healthcare services and promoting a seamless patient experience, adapting as necessary.Carry out essential nursing responsibilities, including accurate temperature and blood pressure measurements, fostering comfort and confidence in clients.Engage in detailed interviews with clients and their families to understand their medical background and medication history, creating comprehensive and individualized care plans.Maintain and update patient documentation to ensure accurate records for effective communication among healthcare professionals.Monitor and manage medical administration records (MARs) and handle medication prescribing authorities (PAs) proficiently.Serve as a valuable resource for nursing and medical inquiries, fostering collaboration and support within the healthcare community.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in MissouriCurrent LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Missouri
