Visiting Angels Mainline and Visiting Angels Jenkintown are looking for experienced, compassionate, and professional Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Homecare team (expansion position). In this role, you will complete preliminary home visits and on-going assessments of our senior clients. You will also complete supervisory checks of caregivers, ensuring the safety, wellness, and satisfaction of clients and their families. This role is full time between both locations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure company standards as a quality provider through the implementation of excellent quality care and exceptional customer serviceConduct Home Visits to bring new clients or reinstate old clientsConduct in-home supervisory visits every 30 and 60 daysUpdate the plan of care and make necessary revisions as neededConduct safety checks in the home to maintain a safe environment for clientsSupervise, teach and orient caregivers per agency guidelines and regulatory standardsParticipate in the supervision of Caregivers; recognize Caregivers for a job well doneIdentify Caregiver performance issues and address appropriatelyCo-manage Caregiver training programParticipate in the quality assurance evaluations of the services provided to the clientsPerform related duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Management teamMust be willing to help in two step PPD program as and when required

Requirements:

Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing; at least 5 years of nursing experience, preferredCurrently registered/licensed with the Pennsylvania Board of NursingPrevious nursing/managerial experience in private duty home care and at least two years of Dementia care experience preferredSales experience preferred Goal centered team playerStrong communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload and problem solve Must have a yearly TB testAbility to multi-task effectively, prioritize tasks and perform timely in a highly demanding environmentStrong organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail and willingness to delegateTeam player who is able to follow policies and directives independentlyAbility to identify and analyze complex issues and problems in personnel and other management areas, recommend and implement solutions

This position will be for both our Jenkintown and Havertown locations. is available at Visiting Angels Jenkintown, PA. Our Jenkintown office is located at 1250 Greenwood Ave, #1A, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Our Havertown office is located at 1950 Lawrence Road, First Floor, Havertown, PA 19083.

We serve Greater Philadelphia area- from Delaware border to Warminister, PA. This role supports clients moslty in Mainline and Chadds Ford area. This position requires travel to these areas and additional areas in our territory.
