The Virtual Nurse is expected to abide by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. + The Virtual Nurse will have a reporting relationship with the nursing leadership of the clinical unit. **Responsibilities:** + The Virtual Registered Nurse (Virtual RN) works onsite in our Silver Spring location in the Virtual RN Hub. + The Virtual RN is a member of the Nursing Care Team and is responsible for collaboration, communication & facilitation and documentation of optimal provision of care through a computerized and/or digital platform supporting daily management of care. + Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring & evaluation of the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge. + Organize care through collaboration with multidisciplinary care team and participates directly or indirectly with patient + Utilizes clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills coordinate, implement & support the plan of care. + Ensures a seamless, effective, efficient transition of care across the continuum. + Responsible for monitoring quality metrics specific to the department & ensuring complete & accurate documentation in the patient record. + Performs virtual Safety Rounds + A high degree of professional competence and autonomy will be demonstrated in performing various roles such as clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator. **What you will need** **Required:** + **Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.** + Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. + **Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management.** + Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. **RN’s Pay Range-$41.44-$55.93** Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
