Position: Nurse Supervisor RN -
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.
You will provide oversee the nursing function for the assigned patient unit. If you are passionate about improving behavioral health and excited about the opportunity to be a part of opening a new hospital, we would love the opportunity to meet you.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a nurse preferred. Previous experience with acute care preferred. CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required (training available post hire and offered by facility).Job Details:

Lead and develop the nursing staff within the unit, providing performance goals, feedback, and development opportunities. Determine, assign, and assess performance objectives for nurses on the unit. Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of all nursing personnel within the unit. Provide clinical leadership, strategic and long-term goals for the nurses on the unit. Plan, direct, and coordinate nursing services within the recovery unit. Responsible for the quality of care, staff’s work and operational efficiency and effectiveness of the nursing unit.
