Under the direction of the unit Director and with the direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or staff RN/LPN, the Nurse Tech facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living, provision of a clean, comfortable, and safe care environment. The first time each clinical skill is completed, it must be done under the direction of a nurse to ensure competency. Qualifications Education Post High School Special Training Nurse Tech I - Actively enrolled in school and completing course work for Associate Degree in Nursing. Must have successfully completed Nursing I or the equivalent from a state accredited RN Program Licensure/Certification/Registration BLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
