About the Unit The Zeeland Emergency Department (ZH ED) is a certified primary stroke center and a Level III trauma center. We have 18 stretcher care areas where we see both adult and pediatric patients. We see approximately 28K patients per year, with 5,000 of those being pediatric. We are a tight knit team providing high quality care to our community which reflects in our highly rated patient experience scores.
