Nurse Technician
**Description** The Nurse Technician is a student currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program at an accredited school and has completed at least one academic term, which included a clinical component. Functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of practice that the supervisor has determined is appropriate based upon the education and skills of the Nurse Technician and as defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC)\*. Responsible for providing direct resident** care, applying current health concepts and assisting with routine or general clinical responsibilities that may contribute directly and indirectly to patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or charge nurse.
