3 months - 5 years Nursery Practitioner Job Description We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a nursery practitioner to join a friendly team on a full time basis! They are a standalone day nursery, 2 minutes away from Biggleswade centre. The nursery is set up in a beautiful old Victorian house and is best described as a 'home from home'. They believe in building trusting and positive relationships with the children and parents, by going above and beyond and treating each child as an individual. With 2 gardens, one for their under 3's, with a contained areas for their babies, and a separate area for their pre-schoolers, it allows the children to be free flow between indoors and outdoors as they please.

What we need from you:
• Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or higher OR at least 2 years experience in a nursery setting
• Commitment
• Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
• Ability to work within a team
• Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding

Your duties will include:
• Taking charge of a key group of children
• Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
• Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
• Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
