9 months - 4 years Nursery Practitioner Job Description We're currently seeking a committed Nursery Practitioner to join a well-regarded nursery, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, on a full time or part time basis. Nestled in the picturesque village of Great Wilbraham, just seven miles (11 km) east of Cambridge, this nursery offers a serene rural setting with convenient access to the A14 and A11. While public transport to the nursery is limited, having a driver's license is advantageous.

Established in 2001, this nursery provides a welcoming and intimate environment, with a home from home feel. Here, our youngest community members receive nurturing care, are valued, and are encouraged to develop at their own pace.

What we need from you:
• Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or higher

Your duties will include:
• Taking charge of a key group of children
• Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
• Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
• Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
